The Production Music Association has announced its calendar of events at the upcoming NAB trade show in Las Vegas, including a Monday-evening keynote address with National Music Publishers Association President and CEO David Israelite.
Israelite is expected to address reform and advocacy initiatives related to publisher and songwriter rights that are currently being considered by U.S. government bodies.
Also on the schedule are a roundtable-format members-only meeting with the PMA Board, a pre-keyonte cocktail event, and an International Meeting considering issues inside and outside the U.S.
Launched in 1997 to oppose a proposed cap on performance royalties, the PMA is a nonprofit volunteer organization with more than 670 member companies and a stated mission of "[elevating] the unique value of production music and [ensuring] the viability of the production music industry."

International Meeting – PMA international partners are invited to attend this informative meeting to hear industry leaders from around the globe discuss trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the production music community in the U.S. and abroad.
Monday, April 13, 2015, 5:30pm – 8:30pm, Ballroom B, Westgate Hotel/LVCC
5:30pm – 6:30pm: Members-Only Meeting with PMA Board (Private) – All active PMA members are invited to this private session with PMA Board members to discuss our organizational agenda and address the important issues front and center to the organization's outreach and advocacy efforts in 2015/2016. Each board member will host 45 minute round table sessions with 10-15 member representatives followed by a 15-minute Q & A.
6:30pm – 7:15pm: General PMA Meeting Cocktail Mingle (Public) – Join your peers, colleagues and business associates and toast your NAB activities before a very compelling presentation by our guest speaker, David Israelite.
7:15pm – 8:30pm: Keynote Address with David Israelite (Public) – David Israelite is the charismatic, witty, and hard-hitting President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA). Arguably one of the strongest champions of publisher and songwriter rights worldwide, Mr. Israelite will cap our evening with an enlightening presentation on pressing reform and advocacy initiatives shaping up before the U.S. Congress, Copyright Office and Department of Justice.
