EMERYVILLE, CALIF., Oct. 26, 2015 – Advanced Systems Group (ASG), a leading data, video, audio and film integration firm, is launching Storage rEvolution, a new series of seminars to help content creators explore the shared storage options for their file-based workflow. The educational series begins Nov. 4 at the SF Green Space in San Francisco and Nov. 5 at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose. Both events run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and include lunch.

Recently, the market has seen a significant increase in shared storage solutions, which are managing data using a variety of innovative approaches. The Storage rEvolution seminars will offer valuable information to professionals from a number of markets, including corporate video, game developers, media and entertainment production, post production, and security/surveillance.

Each half-day seminar will include presentations and case studies from manufacturers to examine numerous storage choices, including public and private cloud, object-based storage, clustered storage, software-defined storage, block-level storage, hierarchical storage management, and more. Scheduled presenters include representatives from HGST, NetApp, Quantum, and Qumulo.

“For the first time in a while, our industry is experiencing significant changes in how we store our digital assets. The right shared storage solution is critical, but the right choice has become more complicated than ever,” said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “We’ve developed the Storage rEvolution so attendees can learn about storage technology choices and see how various solutions are being used today by ASG clients.”

The ASG storage seminars are free, but pre-registration is requested. For online registration and more information, please visit www.asgllc.com/BayAreaStorage.
