Can lightning strike three times for Matt Groening? Netflix hopes so. The legendary cartoonist is following up his hit series The Simpsons and Futurama with a new animated sitcom for Netflix that looks like a riff on medieval fantasies in the mode of Game of Thrones. Glendale’s Rough Draft Studios is on animation duty. The show debuts August 17.
