Lana Del Rey is larger than life in this music video for “Doin’ Time,” which recalls Attack of the 50 Foot Woman as well as one of the creepier scenes from The Ring. The song covers a track from Sublime’s self-titled 1996 album that was, itself, a loose rewrite of “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess. The clip is directed by Rich Lee (check his Instagram for stills and storyboards), shot and graded by Christopher Probst, ASC, and edited by Logan Hefflefinger.
