Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) said it would show Bolt X, the newest, longest-reaching member of the company’s high-speed Cinebot robotic camera systems, at IBC.

The Bolt X will be demonstrated side-by-side with the Bolt and Bolt Jr. Cinebots, the company said, allowing a comparison of their capabilities in different shooting conditions. With a maximum arm reach of 10.2 feet (3.1 meters), the Bolt X supports a payload of up to 44 pounds (20 kg) and can move the camera at up to 31.8 feet/second (9.7 meters/sec) with a maximum lens height of 13.5 feet (4.1 meters).

MRMC will have all three systems at stand F.28 in hall 12 at IBC.

Meanwhile, in hall 10 at stand D.26, the company will show its automated multicamera arrays, including the 106-camera Polymotion Stage volumetric capture system, which was first deployed with Sky Sports last month at the 148th Open at Royal Portrush golf tournament. Also on offer will be the six-camera Polymotion Chat studio system and the 12-camera Polymotion Player for real-time player tracking in stadium settings. All systems will be exhibited with parent company Nikon’s Z series DSLMs.
