Over at the Apple Final Cut Pro forums there’s a great thread going along titled important : starting to lose faith in apple’s HD solutions.  The poster seems to raise some of the same concerns that I wrote about recently in a blog post titled Apple denies the Pro Apps are for sale. Good. Now what?.

That blog entry generated some nice discussion and that discussion is being expanded upon in this Final Cut Pro forum thread as well. This quite probably sums up the theme of the original post best:

Apple users want to stay with apple, they really do, its just very hard to stay loyal when we see all this time spent on selling $200 iphones and fancy ipods to teenagers.

And while that original post was probably a knee-jerk reaction to frustration about Final Cut Pro not doing something right (and isn’t many forum posts just that?) the discussion it generated is both enlightening and informative.
