The three years that Rufus spent at Rushes clearly proved invaluable as, having decided to take some time out to travel, he soon found himself working for a boutique VFX, Edit and Design house in Kuala Lumpur. Rufus’s travels were put on hold whilst he put his talents to good use as a Flame Artist, creating online and visual effects for clients including Estee Lauder, Toyota and Wrigley’s.
During his time in Malaysia Rufus also indulged his passion for Time-Lapse photography, creating an impressive portfolio that has recently been picked up by National Geographic.
Paul Hannaford, Director of VFX at Rushes, said of Rufus’s return, “As they say, timing is everything and the opportunity to catch up with Rufus was an enticing one. We always knew Rufus had natural talent. Not only is his portfolio of work impressive, his desire to do creative work was refreshing. He not only adds depth but also brings a vast amount of talent to Rushes. It is a pleasure to have him back.”
