Award-Winning Designer Known For National Ad Work To Lead Creative Team
A native of Virginia and graduate of the highly-respected Savannah College of Art & Design, Savannah, GA, Stevens joined Charlex in 2001. There he worked on a variety of challenging creative projects and managed the company's design team. Some of his noteworthy credits include the M&M spot "Kaleidoscope," which was inducted into New York's Museum of Modern Art's permanent motion graphics exhibit.
In addition, Stevens worked on national campaigns for Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Cingular Wireless, Motorola, Acuvue, Pantene and AIG, among many others. Stevens also created and designed the Charlex corporate website. Before joining Charlex, Stevens worked as a freelance designer in Paris and New York.
For Stevens, joining Splice Here represents an opportunity to build on the company's already strong creative reputation, while adding his own well-honed creative sensibility to the mix. It also represents an opportunity for Stevens to escape the New York City pace.
"I grew up in Northern Virginia, which shares the same beautiful qualities as Minneapolis, and I'm ready to get back to that way of life," said Stevens. "Splice Here is an amazing company comprised of many talented professionals with great hearts and spirit," said Stevens. "They have the foundation, drive and talent to maintain a footprint in the Midwest editing and post-production industry for a long time. My goal is to make Splice Here as well-known for their design work as they are for their editorial and finishing."
