Senior Colorist Tom Poole has joined Company 3 in Los Angeles to focus on commercials, music videos, as well as feature film projects. The announcement was made this morning by Company 3 Co-Founder/Colorist, Stefan Sonnenfeld.
"Tom brings a unique level of experience and collaboration to Company 3," explains Sonnenfeld. "I believe that his knowledge and thirst for innovation and technology has encouraged him to push himself into new adventures, which is what interested him in us. We offer the opportunity for him to work on a diversity of projects, and we know he will be a great asset to our team."

Tom Poole got his industry start at The Mill in London where he began as an assistant to some of Europe's leading colorists. He moved to the States in 2004, in order to help start The Mill's New York telecine department. At The Mill/New York, Poole focused primarily on commercial and music video projects. He contributed to advertising campaigns for such clients as EBay, Mastercard, FedEx, ESPN, Reebok, Tanqueray and Infiniti. He also worked on music videos for such artists as The White Stripes, Eminem, The Killers, and Beyonce, to name a few. Poole has also collaborated with such high-profile directors as Michel Gondry, Fredrik Bond, Happy, Joe Pytka and Jake Scott. Poole was nominated for Best Colorist by the MVPA for The Killers' "When You Were Young" clip. Projects he has worked on have received the following awards: A London International Award for the Ebay "Anthem" campaign; A One Show Silver Award for The Killers' music video, as well as a Grammy Award nomination; and for Beyonce's "Irreplaceable," a BET Award for "Video of the Year."

"I have made the move to Los Angeles to become part of Company 3 primarily because of the creative diversity the LA market has to offer," comments Poole. "I have always wanted to work on all aspects within the telecine medium." Poole also shows his admiration for Stefan Sonnefeld "His artistry as a Colorist, and his ability to work simultaneously on commercial and feature film projects is something I was very much drawn to. Not only are we good friends, I consider Stefan a like-minded soul. I look forward to working with him."
