Cut+Run/Los Angeles is delighted to have signed new Executive Producer/Managing Director Michelle Burke. Michelle comes to Cut + Run from TBWAChiatDay where she was an executive producer and producer for 17 years. She brings her passion for the industry and her wealth of experience and innovation to the position at Cut + Run.
“Cut + Run is an exciting company that is uniquely positioned to offer great talent on a global level,” says Burke. “It has produced award-winning commercials and has a significant commitment to features, shorts and music videos. From projects like Sicko and An Inconvenient Truth to Nike, XBOX, Guinness and Altoids, crafting multiplatform content is part of the very fabric of Cut + Run and provides a great foundation from which to build a nimble creative partner and resource.”

At TBWAChiatDay, Burke was enlisted to run large-scale business and oversee production for such clients as Visa, Nissan, Infiniti, Energizer, Taco Bell, Apple and Sony and earned numerous awards for compelling, brand-illuminating advertising including Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show and D&AD Awards.

“We are excited to have Michelle here,” comments Cut + Run/LA Co-Founder Dan Swietlik, who was recently nominated for an ACE Award for editing the 2008 Academy Award-nominated documentary Sicko. “She has an infectious energy and a real drive to forge new territory, which is matched by a vast depth of knowledge and a vision for the future of the industry.”

“Michelle is an incredible addition to the company because she speaks our clients’ language and knows how to build brands and collaborate with creative teams,” agrees Cut + Run’s Steve Gandolfi. “She has worked as a client at editorial companies around the globe and we are pleased she’s made ours her new home.”
