Before moving to New York, Dan worked at Toronto-based Spin VFX as Senior Visual Effects Supervisor working on features and commercials. While at the London visual effects house, Cinesite, Dan worked on The Goblet of Fire, the fourth installment of the Harry Potter series. In 2005 he led a commercial team as a Senior VFX Artist at Technicolor Creative Services in Canada. There, Kelly worked on notable spots for BMW, Motorola, Nokia, Stella Artois, and Ford, and also contributed to the film Saw II.
Kelly began his career in animation at London’s Moving Picture Company (MPC). Working on spots for Guinness, Heineken, and Smirnoff Red, as well as music videos for Bjà¶rk and Kylie Minogue, and contributed to the hit BBC series, Hustle. Dan also worked as Principal Partner and Creative Director at Think Creative, a prestigious design and marketing agency in London after studying Fine Art and Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins College.
