If you’re looking for a unique, somewhat hard to explain look for your footage in Final Cut Pro then nVeil might be right up your alley. I say “look for your footage” but it’s not so much a look as in a “film look”, or “bleach bypass look” but rather it transforms you footage into something all together different. Think viewing your video through a stained glass window and you have part of the look behind nVeil. This is from the nVeil website:

With nVeil you apply the filter to a clip, pick a vector-based line art file and the clip is filtered through that line art to create the look:
