AJA Set to Ship Kumo 6464 3G-SDI Router

AJA is extending its line of Kumo SDI routers with the new Kumo 6464.

The Kumo 6464 is exactly what it sounds like — a 64×64 3G-SDI router with the same compact form factor as the rest of the Kumo line-up, which also includes the Kumo 3232, Kumo 1616, and Kumo 1604. Kumo routers send video with embedded audio to BNC outputs with automatic rate reclocking, and routing can be ganged for workflows that require dual-port and quad-port input and output.

AJA is taking orders for the Kumo 6464 now, and expects to begin shipping it next week.The Kumo 6464 has a U.S. MSRP of $7,995.
