Director Patrick Sherman of Anonymous Content steps up to answer Five Questions.
1. What are you working on today?
I’m trying to get Steve Golin to read the second draft of my feature script.

2. What have you found is the best tool or innovation that has come out in the last year?
Let me see…the storyboard? Oh. That’s been around for a while. Do you have the wrong guy? I’m a performance/comedy director. The technology of making people laugh has been around for 100 years. I did do a GREEN SCREEN shot in the Foster Farm “Road Trip” spot!

3. The project (film, television, commercial or music video) that most impressed you in the last year? Why?
It had to be a spot for HEAD-ON. Because it said “apply directly to the forehead” like ten times in 30 seconds.

4. The best or favorite project that you worked on in the past year? And why?

Hmm. Is anybody in an ad agency going to read this? Taking the 5th.

5. Name the top 4 artists on your iPod?

Hard Fi
Calexico
The Ricky Gervais Show
Three 6 mafia

Anonymous Content’s Patrick Sherman Gets Down And Dirty For Foster Farms
Two wanna-be Foster Farms chickens taking a cross-country “Road Trip” is a recipe for disaster, and indeed the pair run afoul of everyone they meet. Emerging from Vegas, filthy and disheveled, they arrive at a woman’s door trying to pass themselves off as Foster Farms fresh. She doesn’t buy it. In a second spot, a “Duped Mom” appears on a Jerry Springer-like talk show. In front of a live audience, she confronts the chickens, who are caught on tape engaging in shenanigans unbecoming of Foster Farms product.
