40,000-Square-Foot Site Slated to Open Downtown Next Year

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group today announced its intention to create a full service facility in New York City. The New York site will house a state of the art motion picture laboratory, HD telecine, editorial, media management, and a Digital Intermediate post-production center (under the Efilm banner).
Deluxe, which is wholly-owned by MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings, has been strategically adding a slate of digital companies to its portfolio. Extending its capabilities to New York is the next logical step in its full-service offerings to its customers.

"We've wanted to be a part of the vibrant New York film community for a long time," said Cyril Drabinsky, CEO of Deluxe. "We're excited and committed to the success of this new facility."

Deluxe New York is expected to open some services by October 2007 and have full operation in a roughly 40,000 square foot custom-finished space available in early 2008. The facility will be located in downtown Manhattan.
