Motion graphics design studio Fish Eggs has added Creative Director Jeffrey Pittle to its senior design team. Formerly with Las Vegas production studio Media Underground, Pittle will assist Executive Creative Director Chris Roe in overseeing design projects, supervising artists and designers, and making new business presentations.
Fish Eggs specializes in broadcast design, with its recent credits including the ABC series Duel and Dance War: Bruno vs Carrie Ann and NBC’s American Gladiators.

“Jeff brings a fresh perspective, vast experience in multiple medias and a high level of professionalism to help manage our expanding workload with increased creativity,” said Roe. “He’s a great addition to our team.”

Pittle comes to Fish Eggs with a long list of broadcast and commercial credits for such clients as HBO/Cinemax, the Billboard Music Awards, Blockbuster, 7-11 and Subway. His experience also extends to many other areas of design, including print, logo and web design. Additionally, he has done extensive work for Las Vegas area hotels, including the MGM Mirage, the Venetian, designing graphics for sets, marquees and broadcast advertising.

Pittle hopes to draw on his eclectic background to help Fish Eggs grow its business and move in new creative directions. “I’d like to branch out and explore new styles,” he said. “I want to help this company continue to exceed its clients’ expectations.”

A graduate of New York’s School of Visual Arts, Pittle has worked as a freelancer for much of his career, often under the name Pittleworks. Among his clients were Walt Disney Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering for whom he worked on attractions for Epcot Center and the Disney theme park in Orlando. He also contributed to the design of the Jurassic Park attraction at Universal Studios, Orlando. In 2004, Pittle took a staff post as creative director at Media Underground, a video production company specializing in reality and awards shows.

Along with his varied experience, Pittle said that his strengths include his conceptual skills. “I was trained as a traditional artist and I also have developed good storytelling skills,” he observed. “Storytelling is very important to design work because clients often do not come to you with a fully developed idea. That is often why I am hired…to develop a strong idea and flesh it out.”
