Fluid, the New York-based editorial, original music and visual effects studio, has added Editor Robin Burchill to its editorial roster, it was announced today by Marc Schwartz, company Executive Producer/Partner.
Burchill comes to Fluid from Chemistri (New York, NY) where, for the past 6 years, she edited spots for clients such as Old Spice, Lean Cuisine, Verizon and Aamco. She began her career as an assistant at Consulate (New York, New, NY), becoming a staff editor in 1992. While there, she worked on a variety of projects including the feature film “Rhythm Thief,” music videos directed by Gus Van Sant and Larry Clark, and commercials for AT&T, L’Oreal, Got Milk, and Bank of America.

Of her recent move to Fluid, Ms. Burchill says, ” I was immediately impressed by the scope of talents at Fluid that includes music production, sound design, computer graphics and interactive media. This, and its tight-knit, enthusiastic staff and casual, yet sophisticated, vibe convinced me that Fluid would be a good fit for me.”

Robin Burchill joins a Fluid creative team which includes editors Greg Letson, Scott Philbrook and John Mallerman; composers Andrew Sherman, Judson Crane and Ryan Lott; and visual effects artist Wes Waldron, all of whom are represented in-house by Jessica Millington and Mendy Frohlich, and by independent rep Lori Youmans.

Ms. Burchill attended the State University of New York (Purchase, NY) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. She currently makes her home in the East Village in New York City.
