The 10,000 square foot Burbank facility, housed in Ascent Media’s Hollywood Way location, features state-of-the-art systems for authoring and compression in a secure, fully integrated workflow, and a staff of some 30 DVD technicians. Disc mastering, subtitling, closed captioning and check disc support is available for DVD and Blu-ray, as well as other digital media formats.
Blink Digital’s New York and Santa Monica studios specialize in concept development, menu and graphics design, and menu regionalization services. The New York office also has its own in-house DVD authoring and compression services and therefore offers a complete solution on-site. Both offices also offer other creative services including production services for DVD bonus features, web and mobile phone programming, broadcast media and electronic press kits. The company’s clients include major film and television studios, record companies, advertising agencies and corporations.
To facilitate the integration of its three locations, Blink Digital has brought on Drew Huntsman as Director of Technical Operations. Huntsman, formerly Vice President of DVD and New Media at DVS Intelestream, Los Angeles, will work to standardize procedures, operations and workflows between the New York, Santa Monica and Burbank facilities. Huntsman’s background also includes senior technology posts with Fotokem, VDI Multimedia and Universal Studios/DVCC.
Blink Digital has offices in Santa Monica, Burbank and New York. For more information, phone (310) 899-7200 or (212) 661-6900.
