Tascam’s new 48-channel digital console is designed for seamless integration with computer workstation recording software. The IF/FW-DM FireWire card provides a 24-channel audio interface and surface control of digital audio workstation mixing functions. It includes 16 rotary encoders, up to 6.1 surround panning, and (with the optional IF-SM/DM surround monitoring interface card) multichannel monitor and downmix.
