Expanding list of supported progressive frame formats; enhanced compositing and effects capabilities

100 version 12.0 is now shipping. The new release adds support for
progressive frame formats including realtime SD cross convert from 4:3
to 16:9 (Media 100 HD Suite), a new time code burn-in feature for all
models, and deeper integration with the Boris FX product line. With
version 12.0, Media 100 Editors can edit in almost any format with
greater control over effect compositions including professional color
correction techniques with support for 16 bit color. The Media 100
version 12.0 release can be seen at IBC 2007 on stand 7.830.

  • Boris FX Integration; Clip effects and transitions can be applied and saved as favorites within Media100 interface. Effects can be processed in 16 bit per channel color space for maximum quality and color accuracy.
  • Intel-Mac Acceleration for Effects Creation; Boris FX plug-ins take advantage of the latest Mac-Intel processors to render and optimum speeds.

channel. Customers holding valid Media 100 Platinum Software
Agreements receive version 12.0 free of charge. Media 100 HD Suite,
Media 100 HDe, and Media 100 SDe customers can purchase the Media 100
Platinum Software Agreement for $695.00 USD.

Media 100 Producer and Media 100 Producer Suite customers can upgrade
to version 12.0 for 295.00 USD.
