At NAB 2008, Manfrotto, a world leading manufacturer of photographic and video support products, today introduced the 701HDV – an advanced compact fluid video head that joins the company’s revolutionary HDV-Series. Developed specifically for today’s latest prosumer and professional compact high-definition camcorders, the lightweight 701HDV is the ideal solution for videographers working with payloads up to 8.8 pounds.
Boasting a stylish new design, the 701HDV takes inspiration from its HDV siblings, the 501HDV and 503HDV. The updated profile of the new 701HDV is highlighted by improved ergonomics, with redesigned locks and knobs that allow for a more solid grip and better control, better fluidity thanks to improved internal fluid cartridges, a double pan-bar rosette and a larger sliding plate to optimize the position of the camera based on its center of gravity.
The 701HDV will be available in late spring 2008. For additional information, please visit www.bogenimaging.us.
