Technicolor PostWorks is expanding uptown with more than 50,000 square feet of editing space — translating to more than 120 editing rooms — set to open early this summer at 1411 Broadway, just south of Times Square.

Officials said the new lease extends "beyond 2026," and was signed thanks to the recent surge in film and television production in New York. "The production environment in the New York area, especially for episodic television and independent film, is very strong, and we expect it to strengthen for the foreseeable future," said Technicolor PostWorks CEO David Rosen in a prepared statement. "This new editing facility is an expression of our confidence and enhances our ability to provide producers with robust, stable post-production resources."

The new building, located a short distance from midtown Manhattan transit hubs at Penn Station, the Port Authority Terminal and Grand Central Terminal, features 24/7 access, on-site parking, and 22 passenger and three freight elevators, the company said. Space will be offered for long-term and short-term rental as editorial suites, open work areas or production offices, and the facility will be directly linked with the company's existing downtown operations.
