StudioDaily (“Studio”) — a leading online publication covering production and post-production — has announced a new product-based video news service series for its readers. Both of these sponsored video programs will debut in April in conjunction with the annual National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show, April 24-27, 2017 in Las Vegas.

The first video series — The Hot List — will be a daily hosted news video featuring products that will be exhibited at the NAB show, starting on Monday, April 17, and ending Thursday, April 20. Each newscast will focus on a particular vertical category of products:

Monday, April 17: Production Equipment
Tuesday, April 18: Storage and Networking Equipment and Solutions
Wednesday, April 19: Post-production Hardware and Software
Thursday, April 20: Virtual Reality/360-degree Production

Each Hot List daily video will contain six one-minute clips of leading products and will be presented with a special host in a standard “news-read” format with full graphics treatment and NAB information. Videos will be hosted on a private CDN with full social share capabilities. The program will be emailed to all readers at 11 a.m. ET.

The second video initiative – Demolicious – will debut at the NAB Show starting on Monday, April 24th.  Demolicious is a series of hosted two-minute product demos, live from the show floor. Four product demos per day will be sent to the Studio readership on the same day, to ensure attendees at the NAB show will have a chance to visit the vendor and see the product.

All eight videos will be posted online after the show on the Studio website.

“We felt that, as an information and news brand that covers the video market, StudioDaily should be using video as efficiently as possible to get timely product information to our subscribers,” said Bryant Frazer, associate publisher. “We feel that using video to deliver a product message is a natural fit for this market, for obvious reasons.”

Both initiatives are being implemented and managed by VerticalFeed, a video development service from Access Intelligence, the parent company of Studio.
