Vinten Radamec, a Vitec Group brand, presents the Fusion FCS16 Control System, Fusion FH100 Robotic & Manual Head, Fusion FP145 Pedestal, and Fusion FBH175 Bolt-on Height Drive, advanced and cost effective robotic camera support systems now available for the broadcasting industry.

The new Fusion FCS16 is smartly engineered for the full line of Vinten Radamec’s Fusion broadcast robotics. This enables broadcasters to make the move into robotics on a gradual, cost effective basis without requiring full system upgrade in a single investment.

The control system's network architecture offers multi-user, multi-facility control of robotic pedestals, heads and elevation units. Additionally, it is the first system of its kind to provide a built-in touch screen for full control for up to 16 cameras, and/or full x-y pedestals from a single panel – whether the operator is nearby or on the other side of the world.

While offering a host of new features, the Fusion FCS16 is still so compact it requires the same footprint space as its closest predecessor, the Shot Control Panel from Radamec. It can be teamed directly with companion Fusion range products, including the Fusion FH100, Fusion FP145 robotic pedestal and the FBH175 Bolt-on Height Drive.

The Fusion FH100 Robotic & Manual Head is designed for use as a standalone system or for seamless integration with the Fusion FP145 pedestal. Engineered to accept payloads up to 125lbs/55kg, both head & pedestal can be used in either manual or robotic mode. The FH100 head features the same award-winning LF drag system found in the Vector 70, so drag performance is familiar to manual operators. The FH100 head also provides its own power supply unit, so it directly accepts AC mains, either from the pedestal, or from the studio supply.

The Fusion FP145 Pedestal, for payloads up to 176lbs/85kg, is designed to support the Vinten Radamec Fusion robotic heads equipped with today’s cameras, lenses and prompters. The quality of performance in both manual and robotic mode allows use as either fully robotic or fully manual, without compromising the operator's familiarity with Vinten's manual pedestals or the Radamec/Autocam robotic user interfaces.

Vinten Radamec’s Fusion FBH175 Bolt on Height Drive offers robotic height control of most lightweight Vinten ® & Sachtler ® pedestals, such as the Osprey Elite and the Pro Ped, while still providing the manual function of the pedestal.

The Height Drive adds the dimension of pedestal height control to static robotic camera installations. It can be adapted to work with a wide range of studio pedestals without on-site or factory modification and provides smooth, quiet and quick operation around the studio. Height position is automatically stored with the pan, tilt, zoom and axes as well as focus, which gives the camera operator a single key selection for shot recall. It may be teamed with the Fusion FHR100 Robotic only head for a cost-effective switch to a robotic studio.
