Industry veteran Pat McClung has joined Burbank's FuseFX as an on-set and facility based VFX supervisor.
A two-time Oscar nominee for his work on True Lies and Armageddon, McClung's earliest credits include Star Trek: The Motion Picture and The Empire Strikes Back, and his career has included stints at Boss Films, Digital Domain, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Fox
His current projects include Scorpion and The Walking Dead, indicating a shift in his emphasis to television.
"There is a lot of great work being done in television today," McClung said in a prepared statement. "I like the quick turnaround and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with talented crews."
"Pat McClung's arrival is evidence of our commitment to maintain the most talented visual effects team in the industry," said FuseFX CEO Dave Altenau in a prepared statement.
