Adorama Live Theatre Will Showcase Gear and Workflow for Pro Audio Market

Adorama today said it is the official sponsor of the Adorama Live Theatre, a new live performance space and studio at the Hudson Square broadcast facility of CBS Radio New York in Manhattan.

Opening with a performance by Train on Tuesday, November 24, the facility will do double duty as an event space and a creative studio, showcasing professional audio gear and workflow. Adorama plans to work with audio equipment vendors to host workshops and other product showcases at the venue.

"The Adorama Live Theatre is an incredible opportunity for us to connect with both pro audio manufacturers and end users," said Adorama CEO Barry Litwin in a prepared statement. "It also enables us to provide an outstanding service to our partner vendors, connecting them directly to their customers by showcasing top-of-the-line gear in real-world workflows."

The new facility will be modeled on existing CBS Radio soundstages in L.A., Chicago, Washington D.C., and elsewhere, with the addition of the emphasis on outreach to audio pros, Adorama said. All of the gear featured in the Adorama Live Theatre is available for purchase through Adorama, and Adorama Rental is the exclusive rental house for studio events at the Adorama Live Theatre.
