Wait... You DO get "flexible mount high resolution LCD", battery and charger included for the base price? That is not indicated at the Red.com pricelist.

Your "included for $17,500" is wrong. $17,5000 gets you ONLY the camera (which is a lot). The reservation holders get $2500 worth of accessories which the next batch of reservation holders will not get. Please correct this as I'd hate for people to be misled.

I think that the sidebar overspecs what the $17,500 will give us. The original reservation holders get a $2500 store credit to add to the:
* Camera body
* P/L Mount
* Accessory Cables
* Operations Guide
* License for REDCINE software

This is the best Red NAB report I've read so far, please keep the news flowing - we want to hear about how the EVF focus system works, your opinions on handling the camera, etc. More details please! Articles like these are why I read StudioDaily. Thanks.

Actually, Red is $17,500, not $175,000. Just got back from NAB and talked to the engineers themselves.

$17,500 is just a couple of days rental fee for existing high end cameras, with this pricing how can existing guys survive?
