Dumb Ways to Die

Sometimes the main challenge of creating a PSA is cutting through the usual noise and getting people to take notice. Australia's Metro Trains took a very unconventional approach to the train safety video with a catchy ditty and an animated short full of dark cartoon humor. Some viewers have complained the video mocks victims of rail tragedies — but if it makes a few people think twice about standing too close to the edge of a platform or playing chicken at a railway crossing, it's done its job.

    Great PSA!
The whole point of a public service announcement is to drive home a point.
This accomplishes it with a fun twist.

Best PSA EVER, I think. Infectious truth so broadly applicable.
