    Deus Ex Machina. Look it up. Cheap cop-out plot device – except for “Stranger Than Fiction”; you know he’s going to be hit.

    It’s become so expected now when someone is in the street talking to someone on the sidewalk, that I feel disappointed if they aren’t hit by a bus/van/car/train/etc. In the movies, that is.
