Is flying a camera on a drone already becoming passé? Music-video directors are starting to figure out new ways of getting the airborne machines into the picture. In this clip supporting Pomplamoose's cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer," the drone plays its own role in a story of creepy, unrequited love. Bonus points for taking pains to credit the drone pilot, not to mention seguing smoothly into an update on all things Pomplamoose after the song ends. (We gave it the nod over the video for "Dead Inside" by Muse, in which director Robert Hales has drones carrying lights, rather than cameras, overhead.)
