Assimilate and Adobe Commit To Creating Redcode RAW Workflow From On-Set To Finishing

Data acquisition from the RED-ONE™ 4K Digital Cinema Camera will now have a complete and streamlined workflow from on-set to finishing with high-performance, highly efficient, and cost-effective software tools. ASSIMILATE™ announced today they have agreed to create a 4K RED digital workflow for on-set to finishing, integrating its real-time SCRATCH® Digital Process Solution and the Adobe® Creative Suite® 3 Production Premium software.

With Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium products now supporting the 4K REDCODE™ RAW native format, and combined with ASSIMILATE’s SCRATCH post tools in a 4K data workflow, filmmakers, cinematographers, imagery artists, and TV and commercial producers can maximize their creativity and productivity with results on par with 35mm film quality, while saving time and money. With an integrated SCRATCH–Adobe Creative Suite 4K Data Workflow, users will be able to take advantage of Adobe’s editorial, effects, and image processing tools and the real-time, resolution-independent SCRATCH software for review, assemble, conform, color grading, playback, finishing and output to any format.
