The latest in Sony’s series of LCD master monitors, the BVM-L420 42-inch display features a new LED backlight technology that removes motion blur. It also features pixel zoom, gamut error display mode and a new 10-bit LCD panel for better contrast.
Panasonic introduced its new BT-LH1760 17-inch LCD HD production monitor at NAB in April. It features 120 Hz, a vectorscope and built-in waveform monitor.
Cine-tal’s Cinemáge 1920 x 1080 monitor features 30 lookup tables (LUTs) for color pre-visualization work.
Samsung’s answer to an Armani suit: A 120-Hz LCD TV, designed with Giorgio Armani and aimed at high-end consumers, retail and hospitality venues, features a handmade ebonized wooden frame. It was unveiled at the Milan International Furniture Fair this spring.
