I have hard time configuring my midi keyboard to the Adobe audition 3, what are the places where I have to make sure adobe audition 3 has accepted or configured my keyboard to the software and uses my keyboard to write notes.

I haven't seen anything about having the ability to record real time MIDI into Aud 3.0. Ive only seen importing from already done MIDI files. I have Roland electronic drums and would like to record midi tracks into my Aud 3.Is this possible or do I need to use a different program? I am used to Cakewalk Professional (older sequencer program)that I used with a Keyboard. I would love to be able to record midi real time into Aud3 like I used to with Cakewalk Professional.

You can record real-time midi in Audition 3, but the consensus appears to be that midi is a weakness area for Audition (audio recording and editing is where Audition excels). You definitely need a decent system for Audition, and it'd better be real solid for advanced midi applications.
