We’ve been using the Focus Enhancements FireStore FS-100, which has an internal 100 GB hard disk, with the Panasonic AG-HVX200 to capture DVCPRO HD and DVCPRO 50 video clips (as well as standard DV/DVCPRO 25) in the Panasonic P2 media format.

please help me import my footage. I've tried to import my QT PN files however because of a recording fault. I have a long QT PN file that is 32 minutes long, which is segmented into 2G files which can not be read.
I have now changed my settings to record on P2 PN and after organizing P2 in the FS-100. I tried to view it but can not because there are no clips in the daily dated file. Everything is organized into the contents folder; video/audio/clip,etc. I have final cut pro 4.5 and I have not updated any firmwares. But i need the captured footage. can you help please?

I'm transferring DVCPro HD P2 medain from a Firewire Drive into FCP. Its about 6 hours of media already in QuickTime format. From this post, it looks like all i need to do is to copy the quicktime files into the browser after getting the project settings to match. did i understand that correctly?

I follow all steps recommended with my firestore but when I try to import to fcp the P2 option doesn't appear in the import list. If I go through "log and transfer" I can see the footage there but with an unknown error, unable to transfer.

Someone shot some stuff for me using the FS-100. They copies the contents of the drive onto my external hardrive, without converting them to .mov. How can I import these into final cut / convert them to .mov files? Do I need to retransfer them to an FS-100 drive and then import them back on, or is there way to do it with Final Cut? Thanks so much - please let me know your thoughts.

This doesn't work with fcp6. Under the "file" tab there isn't a "panasonic" file. What do I do please?
