hi there,
i wonder why it's so complicated!? it's a bit easier without using a second camera. and it works best without using expressions. just use one main camera. it's located in the main comp. nest the particle comp in the main comp and just activate the little icon that looks like a watermine. i don't know the exact english phrase for it but it means something like bend transformation. the layer in the particle comp must be set to 3d in order to get the result. you're able to turn your camera around the particles without them to be clipped.
